NB International and the Rio Beni Health Foundation has been partnering with Educational Safaris since 2003, co-facilitating annual awareness and fundraising expeditions for the work being carried out in Bolivia.  Over 70 participants have traveled to Bolivia as part of the El Puente: Ride for a Reason and Walk for a Reason journeys in support of the health work.

Since 1982, Educational Safaris' participants have traveled by foot, bicycle, boat, canoe and vehicle in Kenya, Ireland, England, Spain, New England, Hawaii, across America on the Great Divide, the American Southwest, Australia & Bolivia.

Direct Relief International

Direct Relief International has been integral to the success of the work in Bolivia.  When the health project began in 1998, Direct Relief sent down small amounts of medical material to help the work grow.  Since then, Direct Relief has consistently shipped supplies to the Project once or twice a year as needed.

From 2000-2005 Direct Relief managed the Rio Beni Health Project, and as of March 2008 assumed the role of fiscal agent, allowing Netzer-Brady International to form and concentrate on program management and fundraising.  We are very appreciative of Direct Relief’s continued support and encouragement – and to the overall partnership we have.

Direct Relief International “provides medical assistance to improve the quality of life for people victimized by poverty, disaster, and civil unrest at home and throughout the world. The team in the field has been very fortunate to have generous contributions of quality waterproof duffel and messenger bags from Ortlieb USA.  We use the bags on all our community trips, whether by boat or 4WD, for both our medical supplies as well as personal luggage.  The health promoters also use the duffel bags for their traveling.
